  1. Our view of TBR is divergent. I think of my loooong list of books I want to read as reassuring – that I have many enjoyments in store in the future. It's like I have a reason to pick up the next book. I never feel pressure about it, just satisfaction that I have pleasures to come. I have more ebooks than physical, although I do have many, many books; I am frequent re-reader of books I like. I plan to put up a Little Free Library and give a lot away, however.

  2. I really like the B&W (with silver accents) palette. It's very clean, and sort of Dark Academic or maybe even a bit goth compatible. 🙂 I think I'll do something similar in one of my journals – go really monochrome with all the spreads and any decorations.
My reading journal is vintage/Dark Accademic and I've had it for several years because I don't have many spreads. I have some quotes, some bookish art, washi, and collages, plus shelf spreads for the past 5 years. I like lots of white space rather than over decorated and text heavy. I kept the journal lean on purpose because I wanted to have it multiyear. I use goodreads for tracking most reading, and I like having my own copy of the list of books I read. While my bujo habits are intermittent and prone to long periods of no journaling, I consistently read (every day, so no point in tracking days read and data like that) and use goodreads.

  3. watching this in 2021 thinking "oh boy, if you only new how 2020's gonna be like…" I can't believe it's been almost a year since this whole situation started….

  5. Wow. I know I am creative and like to draw and whatnot, but holy crap. That is a LOT of detail in one journal. Dang. My goals for Goodreads are 25 books because I'm a slow reader. And I watch movies/tv and stuff more than reading. According to Goodreads though I have read 250 books. For me that is good. I don't know how people can read 100 books a year or whatever. Psh. Books received. I never get books. Or buy books. I used to buy. I rent books now. I don't know about anyone else, but I like movies 90% more than books. I have my reasons. Minor details.

  6. I need to make a movies journal, and I may steal that film roll idea; that looks amazing! Especially since it's black and white, and most movies I watch are black and white. 😀

  7. I know I've said this before but I'm still impressed you hand draw all that! I could never ever do that. I loved the black, white and silver theme in the beginning and how simple and clean everything was looking.
